I’ll keep you posted. Hhe are forced to work together to solve the mystery and save the children. I thifves to be a fairly easy critic when it comes to my leisure and fantasy reads but this book, and series, just took entirely way TOO MUCH energy and focus to get through.
Charlotte and Zee learn that in a world overrun by Nightmares, Pain, and Death, the really dangerous character is a guy named Phil. The age group for which it is written may enjoy it, but if they have read the Percy Jackson series, or the Gregor the Overlander series, I don’t see how this could be of much interest.

And it’s not the white-faced, yellow-eyed men in tuxedoes, who follow Charlotte everywhere. There are very few books I’ve started and not finished, and this was one of them.
The pacing was horrible.
Mew I found to be very interesting and I really wanted to know how she fitted in with the story. But suddenly Charlotte wasn’t living in a mystery anymore, in a fantasy world made of dark secrets and hidden tunnels and vampiric teachers and foggy London nights. OK, I’m not a kid.
When she wants to get out urdu something, she lies – very convincingly. Want to Read saving…. I am looking forward to Like Riordan’s Lightning Thief series this is a modern take on Greek mythology.

My friend, sgadow the one who ‘forced’ me to read it, i mean, the cover wasn’t really atractive, and boy, neither is the story. The humor is broader.

I can understand why some people would love the action and the voice, but it didn’t really do it for me. The adventure starts when children in Charlotte’s town get sick just ane those in Zee’s hometown. The description details were crisp and well thought out, the characters were well developed and the ending had me reading as fast as I could to find out what happened.

The danger is really, really real, and scary, and the plot is intriguing, and I am dying to know what happens. He seemed to be shaking. My 12 year old son had to read this book for his English class and he said that he really enjoyed reading it.

When Charlotte’s friends start to get sick, Charlotte and Zee set out to find a cure. The cover is a bit simple and when I urdu it I said to me “This is not a typical YA cover, this does not show nothing about the book and it is so simple, I do not like it but the sypnosis is good enough to give it a chance”. The plot was just not intricate enough to justify the page length. The writing was choppy and while ive read in other reviews that it was too wordy i dont think that tje the problem because it seems that the author was specifically going for that wordy, run on, sarcastic type of writing like that last sentence.
